  My husband and I stayed at the Wellshot Hotel the 3 & 4 July. It was a lovely old hotel with accommodation attached. It was such a great place to stay , full of atmosphere, Tracey and staff were so friendly, the meals were amazing and the accommodation even with shared bathrooms was fantastic. You would not get a better bed anywhere. The poet Lindsay was wonderful with his stories and poems. It was a great experience all round and one we will return to again . Ilfracombe was a great little town and we look forward to our next visit. Thank you Tracey for such a memorable time. Helen and Ian Benalla Victoria

  An overwhelming number of dinner guests when we ate, but staff handled it well. Loved the local bush poet too. The double room was spartan (bed and lamp), but the king size bed was wonderful, and that's the main thing. Very affordable accommodation, so no complaints.

  Stayed in the hotel for a few days. Definitely budget accommodation. Friendly staff and guests. Comfy and warm beds were ruined by a live flea jumping on me and finding a dead bug under my sheets when I changed them. The owner apologised. Cool history and decor.
